Certified Optometrist
Dr. Annette Nickel, an Iowa native, growing up in Newton. She attended Simpson College for Biology before graduating from The Ohio State University College of Optometry.
Dr. Nickel has been practicing in Iowa City and Cedar Rapids since 2011. She enjoys applying a personal touch to practicing eye care, while specializing in treating dry eye and managing contact lenses.
Dr. Nickel maintains memberships in the American Optometric Association, Iowa Optometric Association, and the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time camping in some of Iowa’s beautiful state parks, reading, or running outside. All of which, she enjoys with her husband, their two young children, and their two dogs.
