Certified Optometrist
Prior to starting Copeland Eyecare, Dr. Copeland was a member of the Department of Ophthalmology at Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY, one of the largest volume departments in the nation. With the large diversity of cases, Dr. Copeland was able to expand his clinical interests by caring for patients with systemic disease such as Diabetes, Hypertension, and Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Dr. Copeland graduated from Binghamton University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He attended the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN and graduated in 2003 with a Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. Copeland completed a residency in Primary Care and Ocular Disease at the NY Harbor VA Medical Center.
Dr. Copeland lives in Cedar Rapids with his family.
